DOĞU AKDENİZ BASIN - ACTIVITY 6.2 STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATIONS WITH CENTRAL AND BASIN SCALE INSTITUTIONS FOR SCOPING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS WERE ORGANIZED IN MERSIN

'Activity 6.2 Stakeholder consultations with central and basin scale institutions for Scoping Environmental Impacts Reports' organized within the scope of 'Activity 4.3.1 - Improving public and sector representatives’ awareness on water allocation via training programs, workshops and informative meeting' of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 10 September 2024 at Mersin Divan Hotel. 

97 people attended the meeting, including Mr. Taner Kimençe, Head of the Basin Management Department, General Directorate of Water Management, regional and provincial directorates, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, representatives of stakeholder institutions and organizations in the basin and centre, directors of the consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consulting and ACC Consulting and technical assistance team.
