20TH OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS ORGANIZED

The 20th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 22 August 2024 as a hybrid with participation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall and via the Zoom platform.

A total of 43 people attended the meeting, including the Deputy Director General of Water Management Mr Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Development Sector Ms Elif TORCU ÖZDEN, Contract Manager of the Department of EU Investments of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, managers of the Consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, and ACC Consultancy, and the technical assistance team attended the meeting.

The progress of the project from 7 June 2024 to 21 August 2024, planned activities for the next month, organization of stakeholder consultation meetings and workshops, and team leader assignment were discussed. 

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after receiving the views and comments of the participants.
