A MEETING WAS HELD WITH THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT, PERMIT AND INSPECTION

Within the scope of the Technical Assistance Project on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins, under the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, a meeting was held on 24 June 2022 at the the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding the data requested within the scope of the project. The meeting was attended by 20 participants, including Mr. Taner KİMENÇE, Head of the Basin Management Department of the Directorate General for Water Management, Heads of Departments of the Directorate General for Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection Soner OLGUN and Ali DURAK, representatives of the Directorate General for Water Management, representatives of the Directorate General  for Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection and technical assistance team.

The meeting started with the opening speech of Mr. Soner OLGUN and Mr. Taner KİMENÇE explained the scope of the project. The meeting was concluded after the question-answer session and discussions held after the presentation of the River Basin Management Plans Coordinator Oytun ARIKAN on the data collected and requested within the scope of the project.
