ACTIVITY 5.7 CONDUCTING TRAINING WORKSHOPS ON MODELLING, ENVIRONMENTAL OBJECTIVES AND PROGRAMME OF MEASURES WAS HELD IN ANKARA

Activity 5.7 Modelling Workshop organized within the scope of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held in Ankara on 30-31 January 2025.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Yakup Karaaslan, Deputy Director General of Water Management, Mr. Neşat Onur ŞANLI, Head of Monitoring, Quality and Information System Department, General Directorate of Water Management, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, General Directorate of Forestry, General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, General Directorate of Crop Production, General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, General Directorate for EU and Foreign Affairs, General Directorate for Environmental Management, General Directorate of Meteorology,  Directorate of Climate Change, General Directorate of Industry, TUBİTAK MAM, Dokuz Eylül University, Gazi University, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Süleyman Demirel University, Valencia University, Hidrowell Engineering and managers of the consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, ACC Consultancy, and the Technical Assistance Team, 74 participants on the first day and 58 participants on the second day.
