18TH OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS ORGANIZED

The 18th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 24 April 2024 as a hybrid with participation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall and via the Zoom platform.

Deputy Director General of Water Management Mr Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Contract Manager of the Department of EU Investments of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, managers of the Consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, and ACC Consultancy, and the technical assistance team attended the meeting. 42 people attended the meeting.

The progress of the project between February 27 and April 24, 2024, planned events in the next month, organization of stakeholder consultation meetings, Activity 5.3 Modeling, Activity 8 Monitoring were discussed.

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after receiving the views and comments of the participants.
