22ND OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS ORGANIZED

The 22nd Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 21 November 2024 as a hybrid with participation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall and via the Zoom platform.

A total of 50 people attended the meeting, including the Deputy Director General of Water Management Mr Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Head of Basin Management Department, General Directorate of Water Management Mr. Taner Kimençe, Head of Monitoring, Quality and Information System Department, Mr. Neşat Onur ŞANLI, Contract Manager of the Department of EU Investments of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, managers of the Consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, and ACC Consultancy, and the technical assistance team attended the meeting.

The progress of the project from 8 October 2024 to 21 November 2024, planned activities for the next month, stakeholder events and workshops to be organized during the remaining period of the project, time extension revised work plan, visibility materials and the licenses of the modelling software were discussed.  

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after the participants had received their views and comments.
