23RD OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS ORGANIZED

 The 23rd Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 8 January 2025 as a hybrid with participation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall and via the Zoom platform.

A total of 51 people attended the meeting, including the Deputy Director General of Water Management Mr Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Head of Basin Management Department, Mr. Taner Kimençe, Head of Monitoring, Quality and Information System Department, Mr. Neşat Onur ŞANLI, Ms. Elif TORCU ÖZDEN, Coordinator of the Environment and Sustainable Development Sector of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, Contract Manager of the Department of EU Investments of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, managers of the Consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, and ACC Consultancy, and the technical assistance team attended the meeting.

The progress of the project from 21 November 2024 to 8 January 2025, planned activities for the next month, time extension and the Activity  7.6.1 Documentary were discussed.  

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after the participants had received their views and comments.
