17TH OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS ORGANIZED

The 17th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 27 February 2024 as a hybrid with participation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall and via the Zoom platform.

Director General of Water Management Ms Afire SEVER, Deputy Director General of Water Management Mr Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Coordinator of the European Union Delegation, Environment and Sustainable Development Sector Ms Elif TORCU ÖZDEN, Head of EU Investments Department of the General Directorate of European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Dr. İsmail Raci BAYER, Contract Manager of the Department of EU Investments of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management,managers of the Consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, and ACC Consultancy, and the technical assistance team attended the meeting. 48 people attended the meeting.

The progress of the project between December 21, 2023 and February 27, 2024, the planned activities in the next month, delays and revised work plan, project activities that could not be realized, the addendum for study visits, and other issues were discussed.

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after receiving the views and comments of the participants.
