14TH OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS HELD

The 14th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of the 'Technical Assistance on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins' project co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance was held on 21 September 2023 as a hybrid with participation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall and via the Zoom platform.

Deputy Director General of Water Management Mr Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Head of the Department of Basin Management of the General Directorate of Water Management Mr Taner KİMENÇE, Coordinator of the European Union Delegation, Environment and Sustainable Development Sector Ms Elif TORCU ÖZDEN, Contract Manager of the Department of EU Investments of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, managers of the Consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, and ACC Consultancy, and the technical assistance team attended the meeting. 38 people attended the meeting.

The reasons for the departure of key and non-key experts from the project, the high number of corrections in the project reports and solution suggestions were discussed.

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after the opinions and comments of the participants were received.
