A MEETING ON THE REPORTING PROCESS WAS ORGANISED

Within the scope of the Technical Assistance Project on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins, under the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, a meeting was held on 15 December 2022 at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regarding the submitted reports. The meeting was attended by 46 participants including the Deputy Director General for Water Management, Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Head of the Basin Management Department, Mr. Taner KİMENÇE, representatives of the Directorate General for Water Management and the technical assistance team.

The meeting started with the opening speech of Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN and continued with the presentations delivered by the technical assistance team experts on the following reports.

Activity 1.3 Review of river basin districts, water bodies, typologies, classes and categories

Activity 1.5 Analysis of the pressures and impacts on water bodies

Activity 1.5 Risk assessment

Activity 1.6 Risk Analysis

Activity 4.1.1 Investigating current sectoral water usage situation in each basin

The meeting was adjourned after a question and answer session.
