7TH OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING WAS HELD

Within the scope of the Technical Assistance Project on Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for 6 Basins, under the IPA-2 period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, 7th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting was held on 31 August 2022 at Directorate General for Water Management and through Zoom in a hybrid format.   38 participants attended the meeting including IPA Director Dr. İsmail Raci BAYER, Contract Manager Nurnisa ELÇİN from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Directorate General of EU and Foreign Relations, Department of the European Union Investments, Deputy Director General for Water Management Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN, Head of the Basin Management Department Mr. Taner KİMENÇE, Head of the Research and Assessment Department Mr. Yusuf BAŞARAN, representatives of the Directorate General for Water Management, managers of the consortium, DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy, Finnish Environmental Institute SYKE and ACC Consulting, and the technical assistance team.  

The meeting started with the opening speech of the Deputy Director General for Water Management Dr. Yakup KARAASLAN. After Mr. KARAASLAN, Team Leader Dr. Jaroslav SLOBODNIK delivered his presentation on the current status of the project, the progress of the project and the reports planned to be submitted in September. The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting was concluded after the question and answer session.
